It breaks our heart to hear that so many theatre performances have been postponed or cancelled. This means thousands of young actors out there won’t get a chance to take the stage for their final performance. In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, here are a few ways for actors to work together as an ensemble to put on a show – while staying safe in their own homes. The rehearsal schedule will be based on your child’s availability. There will be ten online sessions over a 5week period, they will consist of group and solo classes. This will allow us to be flexible working around their online schooling and other activities.

Making a Musical is an outlet for using creativity in expression and growing in a nontraditional learning environment. Students will experience active learning while working with the director to create their own story and characters, write scenes, lyrics and musical themes of songs. When all the pieces come together, the result will be a world premiere performance of your child’s work! This is a wonderful platform for kids to express what they’re feeling and going through during this time and to stay connected, make new friends and learn the value of team-work.

The instructor will email participants directions on how to access this class online.
