Summer Fun offers eight weeks of fun day programming for children ages 5-13 (5 year olds may participate in the Summer Fun program if they have completed kindergarten). 5 year olds who have not completed kindergarten should register for Summer Fun Juniors program.
Programming includes outdoor playtime, indoor activities, arts & crafts, special events, theme days, and field trips (additional fee and registration apply). Your child won't want to miss out on all the fun to be had this summer!
Summer Fun Before Care is available for parents who would like to drop their child off before the camp day begins. Before Care (7:30am-8:30am) will run daily (Monday through Friday) and is available at the Pittsford Community Center (PCC) site, only. Please note the additional fee and registration codes.
Summer Fun After Care is available for parents who would like their child to stay at a Summer Fun site until 5:30pm. After Care will run daily (Monday through Friday) from 3:30-5:30pm at both Summer Fun locations. Please note the additional fee and registration codes.
**REQUIREMENTS for Summer Fun Day Camp**
Summer Fun Day Camp is a licensed day camp through the New York State Department of Health. Participants must provide current immunization records. A copy of these records must be hand delivered on your child’s first day of Summer Fun. Pittsford Recreation will not accept records from previous years or electronic copies.
If your child has a medical condition that requires use of an Epi-pen, Inhaler or Benadryl, please provide the following documentation;
-A copy of a medical plan for your child from your pediatrician that includes how and when to use the required medications.
-Inhalers and/or Epi-pens must be inside the box that they came in with the prescription placed on the box
-Benadryl must be pre-measured. Acceptable formats are; pre-measured spoons, tablets or strips.
-All paperwork and medications are to be given to your child's Site Supervisor on the first day of the session they are enrolled in.
